Wow, for a stout, this goes down very smooth. The bottle says "dark and dreamy," and it certainly does taste both those things. On the opposite side it says "smooth in character," and I certainly won't disputer that.
But the Breckenridge Oatmeal Stout is not heavy. At all. It is very drinkable, and I could easily hand this to somebody who doesn't really drink dark beers and I think they would enjoy it, because I certainly enjoy this.
