May 18 - Arcadia Black IPA and New Holland's The Poet

Sorry, no pictures. Two really dark beers in a really dark bar.

But they were delicious.

It's such a treat getting beers like this on draft, and this little hole-in-the-wall bar by my office had these two wonderful beers on draft.

The first order was the Arcadia Black IPA. A great look, a great feel, a great taste. Despite being labeled an IPA, it was not at all bitter. It was smooth, creamy, had a medium body and went down real nice.

Next up was The Poet, which came as a recommendation (both were recommendations, actually). This was even better than the IPA; smoother, creamier, more delicious. A very wonderful oatmeal stout. And as you should be well-aware of by now, I love stouts.
