Yum. This may be the best bottled beer of the month so far.
I never quite know what tastes to expect from some beers. After I open the bottle, I like to take a quick sniff of the beer to see what it smells like, and then take to first sip. The Anchor Porter is quite malty, and that took me by surprise. Obviously a good surprise.
It was smooth, and had just the right body to it. There was no bitter aftertaste. If you asked what kind of beers I most prefer, well, I most prefer beers like this. The Anchor Porter.
